I would say it strictly depends on your application and your taste. With the NP-1 you should be able to be a little more precision down range, but the FC-2 might be better for CQB.
What scope is it, what gun are you putting it on and what will you be using it for?
These are the important things. I personally went with the mil-dot on my 1-4x24 mounted on an LWRC 6.8spc, and the NP-R2 on my 5.5-22x56 mounted on the AR-30 338 lapua.
