anyone had a reticle changed at Nightforce recently and know what they charge. I understand that all of the reticles are interchangeable... is this so? thanks.

The form that includes instructions for sending one in and pricing is located in the Library section of their web site. I would have never found it if they hadn't told me.
Reticle change:
First Focal Plane scopes costs $400.
Second focal Plane scopes are $250.
They charge, I think, $16.00 for shipping and handling on top of that.
There are some limitations on reticle changes and they are explained on the form.

On January 4th they were $250 for second focal and $400 for first focal plus $16.50 for shipping. They are probably still the same.

I looked into a NPR-1 to MLR swap on a NXS. It was gonna run around $600 for turrets & reticle.

I would think it would be cheaper to just buy a new one with the reticle you want than to buy a used one and change it.

I was promised seven weeks, had two 22s back with HS/ZS in 3 1/2. $0.02

Not always. I have sent several back to convert to Mil/HS and I feel like it has been a good deal, especially on some scopes I bought a while back.
