Rifle Scopes Nightvision monoloc vs forward mounted

I was just wondering if anyone has had a chance to shoot with 14s (or other device) with monoloc. If you have what type of visibility and range are you getting to how much illum and if you like them more than forward mounted devices. Some of the claims I hear with the monoloc just seem outlandish.
