Nipple For Welding Regulator

Just got a new for me acetylene cylinder, my regulator has the wrong connector
I want to buy a nipple and nut and just replace the existing one on the regulator.

What is the P/N for this?

Just go to the place you get gas and ask for one. Every bottle contents Are different. C8 is female and CO2 is male or vice versus.

There is a reason they are different I would do some checking with a welding supply house before switching parts on high pressure bottles.

Better question is why did you get acetylene for a welder? Pretty sure that make big fire!

Welding shop will have the correct adapter fitting. I've gotten both male and female tanks when exchanging them.
