Or it is an effort to get people to think for themselves and ask, I mean really ask - why is the world around me the way it is?

Bongino had a great point - in the prosecution of a conspiracy at the Fed level, the first folks to be arrested and the first crimes to be prosecuted are those that define the nuts and bolts of the conspiracy itself. Contrast that with Trump and muh russia. Now back to Q for a quick minute - even today, while people will tacitly allow that the MSM is largely fake, they will fail to recognize that convicting people of process crimes and having the judge say there is no conspiracy, stands in stark contrast to the actions of a certain class of people primarily from coastal blue enclaves who want to tell the rest of us how to live, and form the monied base for the same D criminals investigating Trump.

If abuse and corruption are both exposed and prosecuted beginning with things that are tangible, it softens people up / wakes people up to the reality that the country has been hijacked, and those folks running the highjacking scheme are also behind the coup that is currently going on. The importance of trying and convicting those responsible pursuant to the law is critical - and that is going to require the deprograming of the public.

RE Q and my thought? Do I think there is a Q? I don’t know and I don’t care. Do I think things around us are purposely designed to fail, to enrich some, and cede power centrally? Yes. Do I think Q is a savior or that team Trump + good guys are going to really be successful in bringing this to trial? I’m not optimistic; but given the trajectory of the discord and legislative action against citizens, I don’t like the future if it doesn’t happen. So for now, I continue to read the story.

I have long maintained that top ranked universities needed an especially strong core to make up for the legacy admits and those who gain admission due to the more preferable (to the left) personal attributes, yet utterly lack the academic wherwithal to do anything other than hide behind those priveldged traits and hit the living fuck out of a bong until it's time to walk across the stage before entering a job for which you are wildly over-paid. But when you can just fake your test scores/grades/athletic accomplishments and basically anything... then I may have to back down from that position (slightly). He is representative of a strata of assholes that deserves their own formal social classification amongst other groups of assholes. I mean that in the most conscionable and socially responsible way - just laid the fuck out, right in front of his family and peers. They would benefit just from watching.

There will be no real reckoning of this because there are too many people who want to believe this shit. The general electorate cannot distinguish vanity from intellect. Celebrity (of almost any sort) may be our most valued consumer product. The ability to stare at the camera like a moderately alert parrot and dribble out words that tested well is almost enough by itself (works for politicians and actors who play the exalted role of any aggrieved member of society). A degree conferred from USC or Stanford or Wake Forest apparently adds a level of divinity on par with having a Golden Globe shoved up your rectum or being on whatever Forbes list... there is a pervasive societal pathos of fawning over the rich and political elite that appears more like a cult than any other paradigm I can think of.

The visual analogue that comes to mind is the aristocracy from Apocalypto. I think that is a sustainably farmed, humanistically plucked, organic mango in her hand.

One of the big complaints is getting disability accomodations for students that don't need it. Like additional test time, private tests, even allowed notes others aren't. Usually it's limited to time and location though, but trust me, that's a huge advantage if you don't need it.

We start our apprentices out @ $28 an hour with full benefits and you should see some of the shit that shows up.
From a class of 70, in 4 years time it thins to about 20.
From there they end up making anywhere from 35k to 125k depending on how much they want to work.

There has always been the rich route of buying your way in through endowments. These kids in the Movie Animal House were "The Legacies".

That was when college had a purpose and provided a real education.

College is a means of indoctrination and just provides pedigree for the children of the upper class to further define their position within the 1 percent world, a sort of who sniffs whose butt pecking order.

Community College is the way to go in my mind now if college is necessary for ones career.

Trade school is in my mind a solid route if they would get better at educating students on the actually running of a business.

Im a trade school graduate and I have a fall back skill if ever needed but I note my classmates really struggled with the managing of a business because in my time trade school was producing helpers or Journeymen not business owners. That needs to be improved on.

If you had to pay half a million in bribes to get your kid into college in addition to the tuition, I think you are doing it all wrong.
Just give them the half million, and keep the tuition fees yourself & both are happy.
Tell kid if they need a college education, use that half million to go to to 2 years of community college and then find a small place to finish the last 2 years, and enjoy tons of money.

Of course your right, but you miss the point. It isn’t about “education”. It’s about status and a kind of familial virtue signaling that you cannot get in the traditional manner of endowments, scholarships, professoriates, and construction grants. These people will never have to “work”. The money is immaterial. This is about buying what they were unable to produce as parents, and their children could not deliver as students. This is about putting that Harvard sticker on the Mercedes without having your name on a hall on campus. It’s the illusion of merit, because they don’t want people saying their kid is a dolt who had to buy their way in.

The one girl had a 1300 on her SAT before cheating and getting near 1600. She could have gone to a great school, just not the one that would make her parents feel kewl in front of their peers. I don’t think this was about just getting in via traditional open bribes. That takes too much honesty and self realization that your worth really IS the size of your bank account. No, this was much more insidious. These people want to pretend they can compete in a meritocracy without all their money. They want their peers to think THAT rather than Moses’ “Rockefeller Spawn”, who probably knew he was a mediocre, fat, drunk, and didn’t give a shit because he was a rich Rockefeller.

I respect him more than the ones who are trying to cheat their way in and who want everyone to think they’re something they’re not. I’m friends with plenty of assholes. They all know they’re assholes. They’re at peace with it and so am I. I’m quite fond of some very nasty people who are generally negative and have few friends. Being “nice” Is far below a lot of other attributes I seek in friends. Assholes who think they’re saints who are all full of empathy and virtue make me want to smash their faces in; a lot like these shitbags who want so badly to have people think they’re dutiful parents with brilliant kids. Free college? Nothing is free. However, those who want free college like European countries do not want to do what it takes. First you have to test to see what your aptitude is, to see if you can even go to college. You find out in high school if you are going to a vocational school or college, then Military service. Honestly I can't see the kids that are protesting here in the US wanting to do any of that. Then there are the people who tested poorly paying taxes to cover those who want free tuition.

This is a great point. We've had several au pairs from Europe this is exactly what they describe. Yeah it's "free" IF you can get in. Ironically because the free stuff has to be rationed, they don't give it away very easily. It's also true that people simply don't value what doesn't have to be earned. At least with their system there is some degree of merit based acceptance, but, yeah... I don't think that's what the psycho lefities are envisioning here.
