Gunsmithing North Houston Upper Assembly

I am in need of some minor assistance assembling an AR upper. Just moved to the area, and don't have access to a vice and upper receiver block. All I need to do is install a barrel and torque it properly. 5 minutes worth of work with the right tools.

Anyone in Houston have the tools and 5 minutes to spare, or know a smith who can knock it out without charging an arm and a leg?

There are probably 100 smiths within a 15 mile radius of you. Good luck finding one that works for free. 5 minutes my ass!

Go to Shooters Station on West Hwy 105 out of Conroe. They won't loan tools, but they'll do the work, and it will be right, and they'll charge you less than they could. I think you'll be happy. Gunsmith is there 7 days a week. You can call them today.

Domdoc, thanks for the reference. The smith at Shooters Station hooked me up while I waited (about 5 minutes.) price was very reasonable.
