Holy shit - that thing is huge. I hunted up in the northern panhandle of Idaho last year. Never seen one although the locals said they were around. Wouldn't want to run into on that was looking at you as lunch.

Interesting picture. Adult Gray wolves average from 130-150 lb. North American record being 175 lb. 1939 from Alaska and there is a 189 lb. record from Russia. So I'd say that is one huge wolf, or the guy is a midget, or the pic has been photoshopped.

Have no idea what wolves weigh down south but in my neighborhood it takes a good adult wolf to weigh 100 lbs and the average is less.
Here is a couple of our homey's and neither are over a 100 lbs and I'm just over 6' for reference. If the Idaho wolf is a 150lbs the guy must work at the circus.
