Rifle Scopes NXS turrent question

To set the Zero on NXS turrents
When you spin the cap do you just turn it to line up with the zero or do you turn it down until the cap bottoms out?
Any imput appreciated

You loosen the screws around the top of the knob, turn the knob without hearing or feeling any clicks to the 0 mark and then retighten the knob screws.
