NYS new gun bill

This is the list of gun control bills which passed and were signed into law June 6, 2022 in New York State.
• A-1023A/S-4970A, Requires the creation and imposition of restrictive commercial practices and stringent recordkeeping and reporting to prevent gun and ammunition sales to individuals with a criminal record.
Like it’s not already in place

• A-3998/S-687, Clarifies the definition of imitation weapon.
• A-7926A/S-4116A, Requires semiautomatic pistols manufactured or delivered to any licensed dealer in this state to be capable of microstamping ammunition.
Not available yet and functional, so they are pretty much outlawing the purchase of any semiautomatic pistols

• A-8102A/S-6363A, Requires the court to order the search for and immediate seizure of certain firearms when a defendant willfully refuses to surrender such firearms.
Yeah, nothing bad can come from this as they come knocking on your doorstep

• A-8735/S-7760, Requires the Division of Criminal Justice Services to publish quarterly reports providing information related to firearms, rifles and shotguns used in the commission of crimes in the state of New York.
• A-8736/S-7796, Amends the definition of a “disguised gun” to include any firearms designed and intended to appear to be a toy gun.
• A-8741/S-7736, Amends the “Scott J. Beigel Unfinished Receiver Act” relating to unserialized frames or receivers.
• A-8786/S-7705, Criminalizes the sale of ghost guns; requires any person licensed as a gunsmith or a dealer in firearms to register with the Division of Criminal Justice Services any unserialized firearm, rifle or shotgun, finished frame or receiver, or unfinished frame or receiver.
• A-8846/S-7716, Relates to the Firearm Violence Research Institute; makes technical changes to the institute’s procedures, goals and activities.
• A-10428A/S-9229A, Relates to the definition of large capacity ammunition feeding device for purposes of the offense of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree; and repeals section 265.36 of the penal law.
• A-10497/S-9407B, Relates to the unlawful purchase and the unlawful sale or delivery of a body vest.
• A-10502/S-9113A, Authorizes certain health care providers to file an application for an Extreme Risk Protection Order against a person examined by such health care provider in certain circumstances.
A-10503/S-9458, Relates to the purchase or taking possession of a semiautomatic rifle; requires a license to purchase or take possession of a semiautomatic rifle; establishes the crimes of criminal purchase of a semiautomatic rifle and criminal sale of a semiautomatic rifle; requires recertification of licenses to purchase or take possession of a semiautomatic rifle every five years.

So, if I want to own a 10/22, I will now have to get a license for it and get re-licensed every 5 years.

• A-10504/S-9456, Relates to defining firearm; provides that the term firearm shall also include any other weapon that is not otherwise defined containing any component that provides housing or a structure designed to hold or integrate any fire control component that is designed to or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by action of explosive.

Yet these cunts just got done sentencing a guy that wasn‘t allowed to own guns, who fired into a vehicle and also hit a building to 2 1/2 years in jail…. So, in 3 years, he’ll be able to have another pistol in his possession, but me as a law abiding citizen won’t be able to purchase one, unless, I want to become a criminal as well….

This state sucks!!! Oh, but let’s not hold criminals accountable….

I’ll only quibble over this being “my” government. I know what you’re driving at but that always makes me bristle

Wish all American companies would do the same.

I know previously with a bunch of the “safe act” laws, many police and departments said they wouldn’t be enforcing parts of it… same when they wanted the police to shut down holiday gatherings as well… the sheriffs said absolutely not will we be going to peoples homes and enforcing any of the COVID rules, but that might just be my AO

Why aren’t all these bleeding hearts preaching on dead kids calling to repeal the SCOTUS ruling that police have NO DUTY TO PROTECT YOU

Or calling to have every cop who wouldn’t enter that school treated -AT LEAST- as bad as the non violent protestors of January 6th??

How is a man supposed to know how to differentiate on a whim which cops that work for a corrupt illegal gov’t are the good oppressors that will only enforce some illegitimate laws but not others and the bad oppressors that will enforce all the illegitimate laws that tyrants put on the book. To make it easy just assume that if they haven’t resigned as of now they are willing to incarcerate and/or kill you leaving your kids starving and fatherless if the state deems it necessary. It’s less confusing that way.

Assume all police are hostile and will try to kill you, it’s what police assume when they come into contact with you

They are using NY as a test state, just like Australia & Canada are being used as WEF models. The question is, when they embark on gun confiscation, will those guns be "released from cold, dead hands"? In other words, how committed will the New Yorkers be to 2A? Committed enough to die for it? Only time will tell. If a SWAT team is required for each confiscation, things could get very interesting.

Once the WEF accomplishes the Fourth Revelation, there will never be these issues because they will have access to shut down any persons "neural center" via human-AI interface. No chance to fight back, like shutting off the engine on an "OnStar" car.
