Celia's EMail has been hacked, so far maybe not mine. But if anyone gets any EMails purporting to be from us, making plaintive pleas for financial aid, It Ain't So, Joe...

You should be more worried about what specific e-mail's she had. My e-mails on both accounts are backed up on a server somewhere and I can go online and view one 6 months back and the other back to when I started in Iraq. Also any kinda financial information linked to your E-mail. Websites also with shopping carts IE brownells, for some reason my CC is saved on there and all I gotta do is come up with the last 4 of my CC to use it to buy something. Lookin back in the E-mails if you have ordered recently you can find those numbers.

You should check her facebook acct, a few times the emails are actually from facebook - change your password.

If you are on a cable modem I can fix you up tomorrow night - email me an IP address and send an "Invitation" and I'll go in and clean her up for ya...

Yep, that's probably it. the spurious EMails asked for the funds to be wired to Western Union, London GB, so we got in touch with Western Union. They are handling the LE end of things. The bozos provided their contact info. WU suggested a scenario just like the one you did.

Social Networking and EMail issues have been resolved.

This is one reasons why I don't use either EMail or Social Networking.
