OAL's for a .260?

I'm thinking about a barrel swap and I'm wondering about seating depth and magazine length.
Can anybody give me some OAL's of your .260's with the longer bullets such as the VLD's, Scenars, etc. in the 123 to 140 weight ranges?
I think I've got around 2.800" to work with.

Dont know off hand but I am loading mine to right at the 2.800 mark to feed em from the AICS mag. It does seat the 140's in there a bit but it shoots damn good so no complaints. I did have to get a lee crimp die though cause the compressed power would sometimes push the bullet back out a smidge.

I'm running my 140g AMAX@ 2.860 in AICS mags. Thats just off the lands in my 260 AI rig.

I'm right at 2.860" using AICS magazines. I shoot the 140 AMAX jumping about .030".

I am using Nosler brass and 139 gr Scenar bullet. Measured at the ogive it is 2.83. The OAL is 2.869 +/- depending on ogive. I am using the Badger action with AW mags.

2.84" with 139 Scenars.....I've loaded them out to 2.88" with room to spare in a AW mag.

Thanks everybody for the replies.
Looks like my HS mag is gonna be a little short.

What's a good mag system for a hunting rig. I'd like to have something without an extended mag release to catch on stuff.

I load the bergers as long as I can get away with. I ordered a couple alpha mags so I can get in the 2.9 range. The bergers require a much longer coal than the sierras, when running the same distance off the lands.

Just loaded up 120rds tonight at 2.810 with 142smks over 44.8gr of rl22. I load the 140 bergers right at 2.8. Shoots great. You should be fine.

139 Scenar at 2.848 OAL which is 0.012 off the lands in my benchmark 1:8.
Next measured round is 2.849... which is why I now measure off the ogive

2.875 for Berger 140BTLRs with Norma brass puts me about .040" or so off the lands in my chamber. I loaded these at mag length and got lucky. They are a 1 holer.
