Odd lenght bolt action for newer bullets?

So my question is, with all the new bullets out there and the lengths growing to properly seat the bullets, when will someone step off the 700 action footprint and start making actions with larger openings in the mag well area. I understand you can put a short action caliber in a long action.

What I am looking for is a hybrid action I guess. I am wanting to re-barrel a 260 to 260 match. I am then wanting to run it with high BC bullets. I might be missing that this already exists. I know the big question will be the magazine.

This might fit the bill for you. I believe Lone Peak also makes a mid-length action

147’s at 2.94 oal.
