1st range trip today with the new rifle! I'm excited to see if my investment will be as good as I think it will. Unfortunately it will only be 100yds today as I have to go to the local public range. I'll post a range report later when I get the chance.

Well wasn't horrible, but wasn't great. It was mostly the shooter! I need to get a karsten cheek rest added to this stock. Had a hard time getting consistent cheek weld, since it was more towards the bottom of my jaw than the top of my cheek bone. I also learned that I need to do more sanding on my texture job! My hand has some little battle wounds!
Best two groups of the day, but I just couldn't seem to keep from gettin a flyer on both!

I shot these prone and I'm not 100% sure I was getting consistent load on the bipod either. The ground was wet and it kept wanting to slide forward.

Before spending the extra money get some duct tape and foam/card board anything really. Lay it on top to adjust your cheek height then put tape over it. then put your stock pack over that. Problem solved.

LOL stock pack barely fits on the stock as it is! I was hoping that since this stock already had a raised cheek it would be where I needed it. I have a Leupy 15moa rail and low XTR rings. The magnification adjustment just clears the rail and if I rest my cheek bone on the stock, I'm looking at the top of the rail/bottom of the rings! Either way, I'm pretty sure the stock pack will have to go, or at a bare minimum I'll have to extend the velcro straps or something!
