Does anyone mount an XPS offset on an AR-10/SR-25? If so, what mounting solution? Offset pic rail? I have an Arisaka offset-mounted Aimpoint but I love the EoTechs and was wanting to try that but they don’t have a plate for the XPS. Maybe just too big so a dumb idea but I guess many of my ideas are dumb.... Thanks in advance for any tips

It's rather bulky for an offset mount to be honest. You could use the JP Rail Offset Adapter but I suspect you are going to run into issues with the setup interfering with the mounting of the primary optic.

You are probably right. I spent some more time looking at how it is going to fit alongside the ZC 420 that is on there and it will be tight for sure, especially if I don’t remove the protective casing. Also, most of the offset pic rails are not long enough for the XPS. I ordered an ADM offset mount that allows you to attach different length rails and will give it a whirl. When it arrives will post a picture if I succeed and otherwise just let everyone know if I fail. Anyway, it will be fun to play around with it.

Me too. I didn’t pay for expedited shipping for the adm mount so will have to wait at least a bit to find out, if it’s even possible.....

As anticipated, too bulky to mount at 45 degree offset alongside the scope even with the protective cover removed. I guess theoretically I could mount the holographic sight further out, on top or 90 degree. Or give up and go back to the aimpoint, which is the obvious thing to do. Drats. A failed experiment!
