Those are two events with completely different levels of probability.
Electing assholes who will work to curtail basic human rights? Happens all the time. This carries a probability of 0.99999 or thereabouts. It's roughly as likely that I'll eat something that I regret later.
Thinking that some random Sean Hannity guest will take down the Democrat party (which has entrenched itself in Washington over the past century) with two hours of testimony? More like 0.00001 probability.
A snippet of Sekalow testimony will not take down the deep state. Rudy ranting on Fox News will not take down the deep state. If this institution comes down, it will be the result of years of work, and we're nowhere close to that sort of consistent effort being applied to the problem. We've simply received the opening kickoff and ran a good plan that got us a 4-yard gain. Kinda early to start predicting victory.
i agree that this is just a first step. the first red pill. but i still believe this is a big step.
in some ways, this impeachment is going to help get the truth out to more of the public.
we all know by now that the highest levels of the obama adminstration conspired to frame trump so he would not get elected, and after he was elected, they conspired to frame him for collusion with russians. the highest levels of the obama administration.
but the rest of the country that only watches CNN or MSNBC? they have no idea. the lamestream media isn't telling them.
they will find out in the next 3 days, if they care to listen, and if the media covers trump's defense.
is the deep state going to be taken down all at once? if course not.
@sirhrmechanic is absolutely correct.
but the country needed that first big red pill.
i am hoping this is it.
the country had to be awakened to the idea that there is systemic corruption in our government.
only then will they begin to accept what is coming.
we are helping them dip their toes in the waters of the truth.
