Ohaus 1110 Dial A Grain scale

Re: Ohaus 1110 Dial A Grain scale

RCBS bought out Ohaus (at least the reloading scale line)a number of years ago. I would call RCBS first. I believe that they will fix or replace your Ohaus 10-10 scale for a nominal fee.

Don't think so. Few, if any, reloading companies actually make most of the things they sell, they contract for others to do it instead. RCBS simply contracted for Ohaus to paint some of their scales green.

Most company's press bodies are made by independant casting foundrys and then get machined and assembled in-house. Most reloading branded dial/digital calipers and digital scales/powder dumpsters are made in China and then shaped/colored/labeled however the buying company's wish them to be. Etc.

Re: Ohaus 1110 Dial A Grain scale

I have an Ohaus that is labeled "3100 Dial-O-Grain", but it came with literature that says 310 and talks about modifying to model 304 or 309 to measure grains instead of grams.

I got it for next to nothing at a gun show.

J.A. King mite be able to help you with the parts as they help me. http://www.jaking.com/Locations.htm. The 309 and 310 are textile, lab, school ect.. scales Grams vs. Grains and the dial on the 309 will measure over 100 grains and the dial on the 310 will just do over 10 grams. The 304 scale is a reloading scale the same as the RCBS just not in green, 1110 grains and a perch for a powder trickler. They also made a Cent-o-gram 314. The 314 was a reloading scale 3110 grains, 4 beams, no dial with perch for powder trickler.
