These old gals shoot as good as they look using pet factory ammo, Good conditions and I'm on they will do .5" ,5 shot, I have done in .2s with swift and .243 varminter. both have done 1.25" 300 yard groups. many crows and varmints have bang floped to the mod 70 Varminters. The .243 and 52C are '56 mods the Swift is '57 vintage

Wow, nice rifles, hand me downs? I would love to get my hands on a vint Winchester. Those look to be mint.
