Old Turkish Mauser Action

I have this old Turkish Mauser 1938 action and I dont really know what to do with it? I got it back in 2000 as a full rifle and it came with tons of ammo for like 40 bucks for all of it...Like many of these old rifles the barrel was absolutely shot out so I took it off for the heck of it. My question is what is a fun project for this? Im not concerned with trying to make a long range gun but maybe like a suppressed 45acp dedicated gun if that is even possible. Just any ideas at all would help..Thanks

257 Roberts, 6.5x55, 7mm Mauser, lots of good sporting calibers, no good comp ones other than 6.5x55, no Ackleys though. also, that action beds horribly due to the old military bottom metal setup and I know of none that work with it. Be a nice light recoiling hunting gun though, mine did.

I wouldnt mind doing something like that...I just did some searching and found that rhineland arms makes a 45ACP mauser conversion which I think would be interesting also plus it doesnt cost to much
