One AI AE Question and one AIAT question.

First question regarding the AE is who can spin up a Proof barrel these days?

Second question is related to the flush cup mounts. While I have a good solution in place already I'm looking to replace the skins on my MK 3 and seem only to be able to find the AT skins. I know they will fit and also know removing the HK fwd sling mount is easy to do. However looking at pics the flush cups I installed will not line up with the holes in the AT. So my question is can anyone verify how the flush cups are attached? It looks like they screw into the Bipod mounting block but would like to confirm.

Can't help you on the Proof barrel question, but yes, the flush cups screw into the bipod block (through the square chassis tube). Thread size is M5x.8

I'm sure any reputable smith could spin up the barrel for you.

Have you looked at Viperskins? I run them on my AE. They have small rail attachments with flush cup mounts in them. Very easy

Use a punch when you go to loosen the flush cup screws as they are tight as hell and you will just bend an allen wrench...been there...done that.

I didnt care for the Viperskins. The AT skins fit the AE MK3 so thats the plan.
