New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Are the Burris XTR Signature rings an option or does it have to be one piece? Depending on the inserts you use, you can have anything from 0 MOA-40 MOA.

The reason is that the new scope that I'm going to get (ZP5) has 96moa elev adj. The rifle (AI AT) comes with 20moa base so on paper a 20moa mount will work fine with about 8moa adjustment left assuming that 100yd zero will be right in the middle of scope adjustment at 48moa.
Issue is that on another rifle i couldnt get a 100yd zero with a 20moa base and a scope with 50moa elevation adjustment even though on paper it was supposed to work. The last thing I want to do is to pay $300-400 for a mount and run into problems.
I also have 30moa base on my 260 and feel its just about perfect for that cartridge. Gives more than enough adjustment for that round without coming close to maxing out the scope adjustment.
The AIAT is 6.5x47 so its very close to 260 when it comes to bullet drop.
