Opinions on Replacement Recoil Pad for KRG W3 (R700 Patern)?

The rubber in the old Limbsaver pad on my W3 has broken down and is sticking to anything its in contact with for more than a minute or so. I'm looking at options on what to replace it with. Being a R700 pattern pad there are plenty to choose from. I'm leaning towards just getting the pad currently sold by KRG, but there's not much information on them. Do those of you who have one feel like the current KRG pads are up to par with other options on the market? Are there others you prefer, or would avoid?

It's a Limbsaver issue - same thing happened on my KRG W3 Gen IV. Started melting into the safe...

I think all soft polymers suffer the safe fate eventually. Had similar issues with BMW soft-touch handles and audioengine remotes.

My Brunton ADC Pro's rubber overmolding started getting sticky. I rubbed it with brake cleaner on a rag, which normally melts a lot of rubber/plastic stuff, and it hardened up the shell and seems to have stopped the decomposition. It's been good for a long time.

I’ve seen a few limb savers do this as well.

I've have a Kickeez on a shotgun and it works very well.they make a Rem 700 prefit.

I've had an older limbsaver suffer the same fate. My current recoil pad from KRG is maybe my favorite piece of shoulder rubber that I have in the safe.

I agree this is an issue with Limbsavers compound, not KRG's fault. It's a Gen 3, so it's old enough that I'm not particularly bent out of shape over it.

I got a replacement from KRG for mine. I think I paid for it but it wasnt much.
