Rifle Scopes Optic Help-need advice

Please excuse my lack of information and spelling mistakes.

I am looking for an optic to go on three different guns. Primary being home a defense weapon. Thinking a reflex sight. Goal is fast and easy target acquistion. Secondary uses are pistol and small game plinker, both for hunting and target shooting.

The Leupold delta reflex site looks like what I am talking about. What are the cons/pros. Its a reflex sight, does that imply it requires an external source of light to reflect the dot.

Again looking for advice. And primary objective is fast easy target acquistion.

Have you considered a 1x - 4x x 22 scope with a fast reticle?
Check out the IOR, US Optics SN-4, and others that fit this bill. They are very versatile scopes and will do all that you have asked for here

I know i might be wrong here but I would put a red or green laser on for home protection. You never know when you might not get the chance to bring the weapon up to look thru sights. With a laser you are balls on from the hip or quick turn. My $.02

Eotech looks to fit the bill pretty well. USO little pricey right now.
Laser would work well, just not the exactly what I want right now.
