New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
My vudoo is being shipped, still looking for scope, dedicated br and elr, your thoughts on optics of , anyone using Sightron 1050x60? Thanks in advance.
I started with a Vortex PST Gen 2 5 x 25 ebr-2c reticle which I like. But now that I have upgraded to a Nightforce atacr F1 7 by 35 mil XT reticle it works great Off the Bench and also clear and bright enough for ELR
I run a Sightron scope for my field target rifle. That format sets targets at unknown distances and requires very precise marksmanship. The parallax on my scope is spot on with little slop. I can see where that feature would not be ideal for NRL shooting. I'm unable to transition from a 50 to a 75-yard target without changing my parallax. The image would be far too blurry.
As far as NRL, not many people I shoot with are familiar with them. They tend to follow the pack and buy Argos or Vortex without looking at other (usually better) options. I would definitely suggest a Sightron to anyone looking for a high-end optic.
I have 2 Sightron SII 36X's (one of them a now-discontinued Big Sky), and 3 Weaver T-36's. They are all excellent scopes, but sadly Weaver is no more. Optically, I see no difference between the Weaver and the Sightron, but I don't like the numbering system on the turrets Weaver went to a few years ago (numbered 0-4.5 then back to 0 instead of 0-9). Hard to beat Sightron.
