PA Semi Auto Shooters Series (SASS) Match 2 Registration (E. PA, NHRPC/University) 5/21

In! And crossing fingers for another 11 AM start time...

You can lettem relax.

Feedback was the 1100 start time worked well for everyone, shooters & staff alike.

We have also heard the target consistency issue loud and clear and another sheet of steel has been cut.

It will go something like this:

Inside 300Y: Anything goes for either class.

DMR: 1/3 IPSC from 301-700 These are roughly head sized.

RECCE: 300-375ish: Half size IPSC 375ish+ is a full size IPSC

We've also now got three sponsors on board

Geissele Automatics

Lancer Systems (where everybody was a winner!)

Patriot Valley Arms (Precision machine shop services in Exton PA)

Rick is cooking up some fun stuff for the next match. I get to just be a shooter. :)

The match stages are expressly designed for semi-autos. The time limits, target presentations, and speed/number of moving targets for example. The bolt class is there for those who really want to fight uphill. If you are really fast with a bolt gun you will do well, but it will be extremely difficult to be competitive.

We've got 34 names on the roster at this point so I am going to declare the match full.

What a beautiful day and awesome match! Definitely educational and lots of fun. Can't make the next one because of work, but definitely will try to get out again for #4.

Absolutely loved the match this weekend. Will miss the June 3rd shoot but will be back for all the rest. This is amazingly fun, educational and an overall great time.

BRAVO to Rick for a very well designed and executed match!

Thanks also to Geissele Automatics for their generous commitment once again to the prize table. I invite you all to keep this in mind as you purchase equipment.

===============================================

Scores & series standings:

NOTE: THE STAGE NAMES AND NUMBERS WERE NOT KEPT CONSISTENT BETWEEN SQUADS.

So Some squads have their scores represented as: Wall, Ladder, Tower, Hide, Rock, while other squad has: Tower, Wall, Ladder, Hide, Rock, and other squad has Ladder, Tower, Wall, Rock, Hide.

They all add up the same way so if you are auditing the scores, please consider that. We are also past the dispute period. If there is a clerical or math error independently, I will fix it but as stated (some departed early and forfeited their right to examine the sheets) what the score sheet says remains.

It's going to be our new series site. It's obvious this series will run, expand, and last a long time so I bought a domain. One of the shooters is a web developer and is helping out.

Working on the course of fire for June 3rd now. CoF will be greater than 100 rounds.

Pics to follow, but here's some videos:

My favorite: The hide stage. I truly laughed my ass off at myself.

Freddy.....is this were we come to sign up for 6/3 match?

The same section, yes. It will be a different thread in this same area.

Shooters who already have a shooter number got a pre registration link and have two days to take advantage of it.

One of those days has now expired.

It will open for public registration tomorrow.
