Does anyone have any experience with this setup? I saw it advertised on the american gold trigger website and it looks pretty slick. If I could get a Promethius Gen II I would get one, but I have to save that for another " I promise honey, this is the last thing I will need to buy" speech.

Re: PACT Digital Powder Dispenser Combo

I've had the Pact set for approximately 15 years. Never had any problems with it, and it is reliable.

Maybe I'm just lucky that way. Their customer service is good too, after loosing a few items in a poorly packed move.

got mine 7 or 8 years ago. still using it and love it......found a little trick recently on the longer powders everyone complains about. I just set it .1 less then the load I want. most of the time it is what I want, if not, just a quick press of the dispense button to manually trickle just a little more and I am on.....and really easy to cleanup dump the powder out of it also.

Re: PACT Digital Powder Dispenser Combo

have you guys done the speed upgrade deal on the RCBS units? has that made a big difference to anyone one way or the other? and how is the speed on the pact?

of all the stuff involved in reloading, this is one place i would appreciate the extra speed

Re: PACT Digital Powder Dispenser Combo

I have the new Pact (faster) unit and I like it a lot. I rarely get overloads and I double check the weights against a beam scale and it has always been right on. I think it is a good deal for the money. Another plus for me was that it is Made in America. The RCBS unit is made in china and not sure of the Hornady.

I have the pact. I bought it in 2004 but didn't get to use it until last year. The only negative I have is that if the bench shakes the charge will be off. Obvious but true. If I charge on a table and run my press on my bench I can seat as it dispenses.
