Has anyone painted their suppressor (centerfire)? Experiences? Particular paint to use?

does not require baking, but is the "high temp" one, ironically

I just spray it with rustoleum or any other rattle can. Like someone else said, if you're doing a ton of mag dumps or getting it hot you may discolor it. Just repaint it.

Engine header/exhaust manifold paint. I doubt a can gets as hot as that.

C series Cerakote is the way to go. Has an extremely high temp rating but like any coating other than black it will discolor if it is run hard.

I would strongly recommend Cerakote. When applied correctly it looks great and is very durable.

FWIW SilencerCo uses Cerakote V-Series for their Velos LPB suppressor which is full auto rated. The V-Series has fewer color options than C-Series but is oven cure and says it is more durable than C-Series.
