Palm swell and bedding on these stocks?

So I have a NIB Remington 5r that I've kept with the tags, unshot, for about 8 months now because the HS Precision stock drives me nuts (well, I've done a small amount of dry firing). The palm swell is just out of control for my medium sized hands.

I was looking at the McMillan HTG or the Manners MCS-T, Manners T5.

I know it's a 'whatever stock fits and works for you!' game. But I don't know anyone who owns these, let alone a nearby store that sells them.

How is the palm swell on these?

Also, I know from the 'Hide video that the T5 stock can function as a drop in... can the same be said for the others? (it appears not on McMillan, but just wondering).

Thanks guys

Palm swell on the HTG and Manners both are much more slim than the 5R HS stock. It is a bit of a trade off as neither is a drop in and shoot answer as either should be bedded.

If you decide to go with our mini chassis, it is a drop in. We offer it in any of our stocks. It gives you the benifit of a drop in setup as well as detatchable bottom metal.

I would really like to go this route. Gotta save up some dough though.
