i know the 1750 has a 50.5" id, but is there a slightly longer case out there? One of my favorite rigs is 52" unless I want to take the APA off each time I shoot...any suggestions? Would I be better off getting a folding attachment for the rifle?

Thank you guys...so I guess now I need to make a decision. $500 for a larger case compared to $179 for the 1750 and $100 or so for the folder. I'll have to see how well the folders fit in the cases now...

The Plano isn't $500. You can get them a $169.

I have one of this. You can't beat the price!

Same dilemma last year for me. I opted to take the brake or suppressor off and put a thread protector on each time I store it. I was able to keep it in a Pelican 1750. For the extra $200, it seemed like a no brainer . A year later, it has not phased me or caused me to wish I had spent the coin on a larger case.
