Pending World Record Group

Rodney Wagner shot a .349 5 shot group (0.055moa) at a 600 IBS match today at Piedmont range. He was using a Bat action, Brux barrel chambered in 6 Dasher, March scope and Shehane ST 1000 stock. Simply amazing. Good job Rodney. Rodney uses Vestal`s Gunsmithing & Custom Rifles for his gun work. I wonder how long this record will stay.

Rodney`s son (17yr old) held the record with a .711" at 600yds (5 shots) with an agg of 1.628 which itself is a record back in 2008 shooting a 6BRX.

I bet the record will stand for longer than the previous one. There is only so much groups can shrink.

A .359" five shot group at 100 yds is a good group for me. I can't even imagine that at 600. I wonder what was going through his head as he was about to fire the 5th round. Somthing to the affect "damn... damn... damn... don't fuck this up!!!", I'll bet.
