Just got my Phone Skope "Skoped Vision" Rifle Adapter and my Phone Skope Case for my Samsung Galaxy S6 will be here Saturday. Originally I wanted to use this Digiscoping setup to make a Pictorial/Video documentation of my shooting at various ranges but now I'm wondering about recording video of the actual shots.
Phone Skope only suggests that it can be used this way with .223/5.56 due to recoil shock to yer phone/camera and does not and cannot suggest that one use calibers bigger or harder recoiling due to potential damage to the phone or camera. I have drop kicked my Samsung Galaxy S6 on hard concrete in an Otter Box several times and the phone still looks and operates like new...I know the Otter Box took all the impact but still the G force and shock to the phone must have been substantial. Seems to me way more than the shock of a braked 6.5 Creedmoor. But....
Anybody using the Phone Skope setup and have you recorded live video on a rifle bigger than .223/5.56? Or should I just try it and hope my phone can take it?
Thanks in Advance!
