Pic request 700 SPS Tactical w/ HS prec 5R stock

Re: Pic request 700 SPS Tactical w/ HS prec 5R stock

I personally went with a regular non-adjustable hs stock and love it. I didn't see the need to be adjusting my length of pull and cheek weld. You can get spacers for an hs stock if you need them, and as for cheek rest, I went with an eagle style cheek pack with strips of a mouse pad cut up underneath it to raise the height. I think adjustable stocks are better suited for department rifles, or when a shooter/ spotter are sharing one rifle. Most rifle owners don't do a lot of adjusting once they have everything lined up.

sorry, this is the only pic I have at the moment, my rifle is on it's way to the smith to have my new Krieger barrel installed.

Oh, sorry, thought that was the adjustable. Thanks for the compliment. I had to get a new barrel though, I think remmies are hit or miss now. A friend of mine also get an sps and his was holding .75 moa while mine was .5 to 1.5 depending on how hot the barrel was, this was really magnified when I started shooting with the can. Hope yours is a tack driver, but if not it's a great start for a decent price.

I will post you a pic tomorrow. Mine is very simalar to a sps tactical except its the xcr compact tactical. the only difference that you can see is the barrel on mine is fluted where the sps is not. But I did put it in a 5r stock love it too.
