Hunting & Fishing Pics out of or from your blind or stand.

Did you guys get to weigh any?
And yeah, Texas deer are a different subspecies than the northern whitetails that grow huge big bodies and tines all over. The most deer breeders can incorporate northern whitetail over here would be a mix of 75% northern - 25% Texas.

No sir, but my back says all were over 150 on the hoof lol. They all were pretty meaty with swollen necks. We saw a few chasing doe, but they definitely haven't started really rutting yet.

This guy went 134 and I thought he was pretty big!!!

This past weekend was productive. My daughter and I were invited to hunt some high fenced property and put the time to good effect

Agreed, I setup this morning in a stand I never use. This area is practically untouched by human activity and already i had a new 8 I've never seen before, not even on cameras. Are you hunting the Riviera area, close to KR maybe?

Yes.

This was the afternoon of the 29th Dec 2018. First day hunting 2hrs into it this 5x5 came in. Scored 139" small but not bad for a late season hunt.

Currently!!!

Already saw 3 bucks right on the outside of that brush in the field, one of them was a very decent looking 8 or 10.

Also bumped two does that were bedded here on my sendero. It's also a beautiful morning here in south texas, woke up to everything ice. Already, I gotta say I'm winning even if I don't kill anything!

So scroll to the left. I am pretty sure it is picture 7 shows my stand in the background of a deer laying on the ground. The Blind is 51 feet to the floor, has 8 drops out windows. It is sided and has a built-in heater and bathroom. Has three shooting decks, and is awesome. I owe it all to the owner of the property that has taken care of me for the last 15 years. I could never repay him. I have been blessed.

I dumped a nice freezer queen about fifteen minutes after I took this pic. She crossed just this side of the power pole.

Image looking out is my fiberglass blind setting on 10’ platform, over looks a food plot and a feeder.
The one sitting on the ground is for my son. It sits about 50 yards off a food plot and feeder in the woods.
