I have an AICS for my Remington 700. It is not the new new skin that are pistol grip, nor is is the old 1.5, it is this pattern:

I also have an Accu-shot BT08-QK.

They are incompatible due to the skin changes and you now need a BT39 which allows you to fit the monopod after cutting the stock.

Has anyone actually done this yet? The pictures on the accushot website are incredibly poor.

I have no issue cutting my stock if thats what it takes but I'd be interested if anyone else has done it yet and what it ends up looking like.

In way of update I do have a picture of a current conversion.

This is using the BT39 adapter.

Tom at Sporting Services (UK Distributor of AI) did this and I think it looks great. Makes me a lot happier about modifying my own stock.

At this point, as no-one can be sure if AI will release updated stocks, and they are only $110 anyway, I ordered a new set of stocksides so that was I can always go back to non-monopod.
