Who would you guys recommmend for a simple plate carrier. I'm looking for a simple carrier for ESAPI plates, front and back. It'll be worn under the rest of my gear so I don't need to have any other straps/attachment points for it. Which companies should I look at. Thanks.

Huh? PCs don't go under things. That would be very uncomfortable. If you want a IIIa vest that holds plates, that's another story.
For the record, my favorite plate carriers have been Paraclete and Diamondback. The Eagle one is nice too but I haven't run one downrange.

Eagle ciras, Paraclete, Diamondback tactical, make good PCs.
+1, ive never seen anyone wear a PC under clothing, i do know they make discreet PCs but theyre still bulky and uncomfortable. Id get a CIRAS with a few pouches (depending on your needs) and call it a day.
