Howdy folks.
Any 22 Creedmoor owners out there that could do me a quick favour?
Mind seating a 55gr vmax or 50gr tnt (or any other standard 55gr pill) and see if you can get it to touch the lands? I'm building a 1-12 for varmints, trying to decide between the 22-250AI due to throat length, 22-243 or 22 Creedmoor as there are more dies around now.
I want to seat my projectile close to the lands as usual but I don't know what kind of throat the 22 creedmoor has.
I would prefer the Creedmore to the 22-250 AI as no fire forming but it's not a deal breaker.

Since I want to shoot 40's/50's and 55's when they come in bulk, it's what I'm chasing.
Ps: not interested in heavy for caliber, I kill most critters within 500 yards and I want laser flat to get out there.
Thanks team.
Jim

I would caution you on a 50 grain tnt in a cartridge like that. A bullet that might fit your needs would be a Sierra 60 tmk availiable only at midway. Unless you have a custom reamer made I doubt you will be happy with the 22 Creedmoor due to the longer freebore.
