I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a suitably priced scope that's set up similarly to a PMII. This would be for an Airforce Condor for backyard use...maybe a "trainer" for the kids before they try the real deal.

Besides the PM2 and March scopes, there is only one FFP scope that I know of which focuses down to 10Y. That would be the Bushnell 3-12x44 tactical. You can buy them used for around $600. Edit. The Falcon Menace 5-25 might be worth considering but it only focuses to 12-13 yards.

The others can laugh all they want but I attribute training with precision air rifles in my back yard as one of the reasons why I won the AZPRC championship and 4 state Field Target titles!

Re: PMII Clone for Pellet Rifle ?

Steve im with you. These high end air rifles are great for backyard pests and are tack drivers at the the typical backyard distances.

I guess we are looking for moderately priced glass that has the same general knob layout and perhaps a similar reticle as a PMII, so that for the kids there could be some degree of familiarity going back and forth between the two. Will check out the bushnell and falcon
