I have 2 bravo chassis'd rifles. Both have minimalist spigot mounts with harris bipods in direct mounts. One of the rifles has an actual KMW on it...and the other one of hte cheaper versions.

Both models interfere with the chassis when trying to adjust them....has anyone run into this, or come up with an easy solution short of just buying a CAL?!

I'm running a Bravo with a Whiskey forend. I have my Harris with KMW Podloc mounted on a KRG full spigot with L3 rail using an ADM QD rail adapter. No interference as long as I mount the bipod far enough forward on the spigot. This pic should give you a decent idea of the clearance.

I ran into this problem last year - this is how I fixed it. Some time with a grinder, touch up paint, flipping the direct mount around, etc.

ok.....im game, i'll give this a shot tonight before i get pissed and just order a CAL and MPOD lol
It is an option to make what you currently have work. However, I will openly admit, I ordered a RRS arca/pic adapter and an Atlas a few weeks after doing this modification on my Harris. The Harris still works perfectly well on a hunting rifle.

Take a look at the link to the other thread in post #9 - there is no need to run the bipod backwards if you are willing to modify it slightly.

That did the trick! I cut the first one and then smoothed it...the 2nd i just used a sanding wheel on the dremel until it fit with just enough clearance.

Either way...simple solution and pushes the bipods even further forward!
