I have searched this and get conflicting results. I know both the AR 10 and AR 15 PRS work on the gun. My question is does the AR 15 cheekpiece interfere with bolt operation? Anyone with some experience on this? It would simplify shopping the used ones that come up for sale on here.

Yes, if you use the AR15 PRS on the P308 it will interfere with the charging handle. You must use the AR10 PRS.

The AR10 cheek piece is moved back for charging handle clearance, approx 1/4 inch.

On a POF P-308, you can NOT use an AR-15 PRS because the charging handle will not operate properly IF the cheekpiece is raised at all. Your CH will contact the leading edge of the cheekpiece and not pull back far enough to cycle the action/chamber a round. You CAN modify an AR-15 PRS to work on an AR-10 type action, but it requires you to hack up the cheekpiece to relieve it for the CH to operate properly.
If, however, you just want the ergos/features of the PRS and do NOT need to raise the cheekpiece any for a proper cheek weld, then an AR-15 PRS will work on the P-308.
