POF P308 14.5 inch muzzlebreak replacement?

I'm looking to get a P308, and I've pretty much decided on the 14.5 inch barrel. I want to put a suppressor on it eventually, but can I since the muzzle break on the 14.5'' is permanently attached?

Are there any ways of switching out the break on the 14.5'' other than custom ordering the rifle or gunsmithing? Does anyone have one with a can?

You can SBR the gun(lower) so it doesn't need a 16" barrel, or its better to find a break/flash hider that will fit your requirements and send it to POF or whoever is ordering the gun for you. This way it will be permamently attached from the factory.

Yes you can do this. Have Pof or your local smith remove the pinned break and attach (permanent) a QD attachment for you suppressor. I am having it done now to my 14.5" POF. Only downsided is the small added cost to remove and install.

I sent my two 14.5 Inch POF's to ADCO. The 14.5 .308 made my ears BLEED. I am putting Troy Claymore's on them. Hope it helps.
