    so cal
I’ve got a Ruger Precision Rifle with a PVA barrel chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I have been running 41.6 grains H4350, lapua brass, cci br primers and 142 SMK. My first 8lb jug produce 1/2 MOA groups all day and single digit SD’s.

Loaded out of a different lot today and my POI shift 3MOA right and 3MOA up. My groups have opened up to 1.25 MOA at 100.

is it possible that this is caused by the powder?

I would say definitely not 3 MOA worth as well.

That said if you go back and listen to the every day sniper podcast Emil and Bryan cover a lot of ground. On one episode they talked about how powder stabilizes to its environment. For example I live in SE Texas where humidity rules. If I have powder that has been opened for a while because maybe I don't shoot that powder much, when I order a new bottle of the same powder it can show a difference.

It most likely wouldn't show up as a 3 MOA difference but it could show up as slightly different.

I doubt powder is your problem. At least the type of powder.
