Someone mentioned something to me about polishing your trigger on an ar-15 for a real nice clean and crisp pull. Does anyone have any experience with this and maybe a link to instructions or a video to do it yourself?

Re: Polish AR-15 Trigger?

Just be sure and limit to a surface polish. The hardening on these parts are thin and cut through it or change the shape of the engagment surface and best case scenario is an even rougher than stock trigger, and some times a double or triple tapper. The old set screw in the pistol grip hole trick makes a big difference too.

Re: Polish AR-15 Trigger?

So many people seem to overlook this one simple thing: Put some grease, like TW25-B or similar, in the hammer/trigger engagement surface. You will be surprised how much of the gritty feel goes away instantly. Keep it greased and it will polish itself while you shoot.

Hahaha, I am very sorry for the disappointment guys. I will do my best to find some type of "Polish AR-15 Trigger" video or funny story to make up for it in the future. Thanks for the replies you guys gave me exactly what I was looking for. Hopefully I don't screw something up!
