Yet we have most guys with Manners or other stocks and custom actions, suppressors, proof CF or other custom barrels, Zcos, zp5s, razors, and Bushnell elites.. Only on snipers hide...

Savage Axis 223 in the cheapest Boyds stock they offer (Spike Camp) with a "Cabela's exclusive" Burris 30mm Fulfield E1 3-9x40 and modified Timney trigger that I found for half off from a closing gun shop (mod necessary to make it work in this stock). It's got aluminum pillars (done by me somewhat well) and no bedding and shoots sub-MOA to MOA as far as I've shot (200 yards) with any 55 - 62 gr. I've put through it. If you throw a 70 gr+ in there, we start opening up groups but the twist rate is better suited to lighter rounds. It does shoot 70 gr. Barnes TTSX 5.56 ammo straight enough so I'm going to try for a deer with it someday. It's kind of heavy with this stock, though... at least compared to my preferred Tikka Ultralite.
Apparently I need to spend a lot more money to compete with the poors on this forum.

Literally everything was on sale, used or raffle winnings. 
That’s how all of my rifles were built minus one where I purchased the barreled action new. The rest has come from here lol
My poors coyote hunting rifle.
CZ527 Varmint Kevlar .223 - $700 (used at my LGS) That was my OTD price, and included the factory HS Precision stock and a 4.5-14 Burris Fullfield II. I used that optic for about 5 years until I came across an optic deal (below) I couldn’t pass up. Then I sold the Burris here in the PX for $110, so cost drops to $590.
PST Gen 1 2.5-10x32 - $300 shipped from the PX
CZ 30mm Rings - $50
Triad Stock Pack - $50
Total - $990, not including the Harris which it rarely wears...
Edit to add- I forgot I also paid mcfred on here for the threaded bolt handle. Think it was $15, and I threw on a random Mini bolt knob I had around.
It’s the perfect coyote rifle for my purposes, and I’m satisfied that every component is excellent quality. Have never seen the need to bed the stock, because it shoots lights out as is.
Reworking 50gr VMax load development; switching to Speer nickel brass and trying 8208XBR for temp consistency.
