I think “middle ground” is lost in America. Way too much swinging either way. I live in a very Republican poor state, worst county even. But….. I can still own an sbr and a suppressor. There are men in this state that fight behind the scenes to make that possible in the harshest environments. I didn’t wait to take the opportunity to do so. Many have, and are waiting. Folly. We have some dedicated men here still fighting an apparent losing battle. There is 1 county (King) that votes count here. Between king pierce and sno counties it’s over. I think a county by county vote for governor is needed. One two or three counties do not make a state. Reform…. Is hard. Either way. Rant over.

Please rant away. I live in said King co. This county, this state, this states leadership are disasters. How about the Seattle city who by my last count had 3 admitted socialists serving. Absolutely blows my mind that our governor won 60% of this last vote. Unbelievable. We get what was asked for.

for me it depends on how close they are to the door.
sometimes when you hold the door and they can see you doing it, they will double-time to the open door, which is probably more effort than just opening the damn door yourself.
Seven foot rule....anything over that, you are adding work for them.

I would love for him to beat her by 90,000,000 votes. Let her try to claim voter fraud...
You think these people can loose elections in these strongholds? You think elections in these cites haven't been rigged for decades? You think all the jokes about dead people voting democrat, and democrat election fraud came from no where? Rest assured how ever many votes he gets, they will manufacture more for her.

Have you guys ever lived in one of these liberal shithole cities? Know these people? In my experience having done so, though not in districts like hers, talking to people and being around people you realize that 80-90% of them really do love their Democrat politicians. Nobody is rigging Nancy Pelosi's district, or Jerry Nadler's district to help them win. They love this shit.

I get the feeling that a lot of people here have never encountered the normal city voter.

I agree, sadly, this is pretty much the case. Having lived in a few of them myself, the average voter does love them. I'd say that it's between 65-90% though, depending on how "indoctrinated" the city is. Longer they've (communist leadership) been there, the higher the indoctrination rates are.

You knew 65%-90% of the people in a big city? That is either impressive or total bullshit. The only way you guess how many there are is by looking at vote totals. Most people that aren't triggered libtards aren't going to talk to strangers about political leanings.

Cites are good at one thing, having enough anonymity to commit massive voter fraud.

The squeaky wheels keep squeaking because that is all they can do. In fact most just don't want to deal with them. You don't go argue with the homeless guy on the corner screaming "the end is near!" for the exact same reasons.

Of course I knew 3.5 million people. You must be antisocial.

This is another example where, even if right, the right would be better to talk about something else. I have no doubt that the cap police let some people in, and then there were examples of the other as well. It wasn't an insurrection, but there was a lot of fucking stupidity. It is hard for me to imagine one way in which talking about this helps conservatives. Minds will not change in their favor, much as they should.

My neighbor across the street is such.

Very mild mannered guy, no survival instinct, would not do well trying to care for himself in times of trouble. His car sports a "Meteor 2016" election sticker.

Oddly never will say "Hi" to my wife to the point it pisses her off because she will greet him and he just ignores it.

Other day I was out in the driveway prepping my shotgun stock with finish stripper and he saw me and shouted "What are you doing?" than came over to see. Wife walked out as he and I were talking and said nothing to him knowing she would be ignored.

Our conversation turned to Covid 19 and I said we need to get beyond this shit and live our lives which I could tell scared him to think that way.

To everything I came up with such as average age of deceased, little evidence of children having ill effects, co-morbidity playing a role in fatality, evidence vaccine is not protecting as we have come to know vaccines to do.......his response was "I dont know about that."

No facts to counter my statements just "I dont know about that." It was like talking to Forrest Gump.

Well shame on him. He should learn about "thar" and realize he is getting his freedom taken for no sound reason.....but......

He doesnt really want freedom because that would be scary.

It's sort of like the average German saying, in 1945, we didn't know about the concentration camps.

You REALLY think he (or she) got 60% of the votes? Or maybe whoever counted the votes gave them 60%.
Every time there is a proposition up for vote here in Komifornia that you think " there's no fucking way something like this could pass" , well what do you know, it passes by a slim margin. This whole ballot counting thing is a fraud at every level. HANG THEM ALL.

Just ordered this book because the GO's relieved this guy from command due to his "partisan" comments on a right wing show while at the same time endorsing the attacks against Carlson.

I want to make sure this dude is rich at the end of this and is rewarded overall for speaking out instead of any demerit.

The word you're looking for is extrapolation. It's what you do to draw conclusions about a larger population from a small data set. Interpolation is the complete opposite.

If you're going to scold someone by using math, be fucking damned sure you know what you're talking about lest you end up looking stupid

What is remarkable about the opinion is that even the leftist justices concurred. They didn't write any concurring opinions but still concurred.

I say that is remarkable because the search involved the confiscation of firearms. Normally these scumbags would gleefully rule against anything involving guns.

Heck, even Roberts took off his dress to write a concurring opinion.

Attached is the opinion for everyone's convenience.

It's not that surprising if you look at the actual question at hand. Roberts and Kavanaugh were always less likely to be with the majority than were the three liberals. It wasn't a 2A case. It was a 4A case.
