Really like the way he simplifies a couple thousand years of history to explain the Christian values (NOT Judea-Christian values btw) that serve as the foundation of our Constitution, and how that applies today. I think a little sober thought before spouting off on a board where we know glowies abound is probably in order theses days…especially since the heat seems to keep getting ratcheted up by pretty much everyone with a platform these days, but especially so with the shutdown.
Very thought provoking…. For me anyway. Makes me want to break out and re-read some books I haven’t opened in decades; with or without an adult beverage or three, depending on how morose I feel at the time! LoL

It’s basically already in place, just not all on one scannable ID. The boomers are the fly in the ointment on this, because while they almost all worship authority, they are lazy and spoiled when told to do something electronically. At some point they will be ignored because there is no real penalty for the government that does so. Digital voting means the incumbent leftists always win anyway. What percentage of retirees are a physical danger to government officials? Once home equity taxes drop, the facade of government care for boomers and older Gen Xers will be abandoned.
