Shingles varies.... When I had Shingles it was very mild. i would STILL take that over the risk of any vaccine --EVER AGAIN

I was lucky enough to get shingles in my left eye - simultaneously with hiccups, Covid-19 and double pneumonia.
I hardly noticed the shingles with the rest of me going to crap. LOL

Hey, but I'm still here to bitch about it! YAY!

I agree with what you're saying here..especially any "reset" because people are starting to wake the hell up (something a lot of us have already been for years). However, this is basically the abortion pill (day after, etc), and my guess is not many people are going to be up in arms over that - despite it being in the face of the recent R-v-W decision. And all the libs...don't understand...all it does it put it back to state level, where COTUS says it should be - period.

Maybe I was out of breath on my bike ride and halucinating or maybe on my trip back from vaction but I swear I saw here in the deep south a house with a ton of "My body my right" shit in front yard. I really want to ask them what they think of somebody like myself who DID NOT get the jab...because that really is MY body and MY right what goes into it. That body they want to abort, is NOT their body!!!! They hide behind that, what they really should be arguing is it morally correct to take another life, regardless of age.

This WAS supposed to be gist of the SCOTUS filing that Ken Paxton (TX AG) and others tried to pursue - that they violated state election laws by circumventing existing procedures and thus needed to be de-certified, not the stuff about fraud since that data wasn't together.

If you decide to deal with "when", the key to preventing post-herpetic neuralgia (the horrible nerve pain that can persist months to years after shingles), is to have a high dose valacyclovir (antiviral) ready on hand as soon as symptoms start, and Lyrica /gabapentin as soon as nerve pain starts. There have been legitimate studies that show the risk of the severe pain is significantly decreased by access to these two prescriptions as soon as possible.

If you are on the fence - its probably better to get the Shingrix vaccine now, given that they are working on the mRNA vaccines for Shingles are once available will be pushed hard.

the interesting part of that is that "their medicare provider agreement will be pulled". I know some facilities thats their bread and butter but most that are worth a damn have said they dont take Medicare insurance at all and they dont see those patients.

i think this might facilitate MANY doctors/practices to give up medicare patients and then there will be less available for those under that coverage.
