I have seen those throughout the year too. But my thought is that a survey that says America is headed in the wrong direction could be anything - Dems hating the SC ruling on abortion, Repubs hating everything, and libertarians pulling their hair out. Most of those polls never seem to tell anyone what the "wrong direction" is defined as. I have come to view them as somewhat useless and little more than disinfo and click bait.

Look at it objectively. Vance won. Nevada looks good. Maricopa County attempted another blatant cheat, yet at the time of writing Kari Lake is within 10,000 votes of Katie Hobbs in Arizona. Georgia is predictably going to a run off. Kris Kobach won in Kansas. Joe Kent will win in Washington. Anna Paulina Luna got in. And a host of New York and New Jersey seats flipped red. Heck, even Zeldin came closer than everyone except the quixotic optimists had hoped. No, there wasn’t a “red wave”. But it’s not fair to say there was only a “red trickle” either.

Do I wish some of these campaigns and candidates had called upon some more thoughtful political strategists (ahem) in the past few months? Sure. Am I going to cry about it? Not really. Mitch McConnell can go to hell. Especially since that’s where he’s been trying to send MAGA Republicans for the past six years.

Trump’s gone. He is the fall guy for no red wave, and it’s already all over the conservative media in less than 24 hours. If he runs he will lose either in the primary or general election which will ensure another liberal president. He has good policies but his narcissistic ways are fatal to his chances. Politicians on both sides hate him and they will see to it that the populace feels the same. At least enough of them. And he will say enough stupid things that can be twisted in sound bites to offer that narrative. Just because a lot of people show up at his rallies doesn’t mean a majority of the voting base will go for him again, especially with his ability to insult those who should be his allies and are popular like Desantis.

So a few thoughts here:
1) The new Gov-elect of South Carolina is an idiot. She's already saying "will work with the democrats." WHY THE HELL CAN THE GOP NOT FIGURE OUT....DESTROY THE MARXISTS AND QUIT CALLING THEM DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!!!

2) Went to grocery...limited eggs. There was a 6 pack of Nellies for 6 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!! That's a dollar per egg. So, the plan is working fine. Make basic food out of reach for lower middle income and below and start putting a strain on the middle income so they will become dependent on the gov't for food assistance. I hope these people who actually did vote like there dollar per egg, etc.

The GOP is made of a bunch of idiots. TurtleMan needs to go, 2 more years and if KY votes him back in they need to be booted out of the union.

Any actual scientist will tell you that the greenhouse effect is controlled by water, not carbon dioxide. Water vapor is 3x more heat trapping than carbon dioxide. It is also massively more abundant.
