So a RE firm owns all three coffee shops. In my experience, RE people can be quite greedy. Obviously not all, but many. They probably underpaid the workers, and this is what happens. Look at Henry Ford, he paid excellent wages to his workers, and the company flourished.

Unions came about because workers were treated poorly. Some unions abuse their power as well as business owners, so it is a two way street.

they paid them exactly how much the market dictated. if the wages werent fair, then the people should have quit, and then the owners would have had to raise them enough to retain them or hire new people at higher wages.

this is how capitalism works.

obviously, the RE company decided the profit margin wasnt enough to stay open, probably saw the writing on the wall that they were going to start losing money and customers as a unionized coffee shop was going to strike or work stop or whatever, so they closed the company while it was still in the black financially.

as to business owners "abusing their power", thats some communist tripe that is false on so many levels. if they were extorting their employees, breaking labor laws or whatnot, thats actionable items that get resolved with legal actions.

if you are saying a business abused their power by "not paying enough" thats part of finding the market balance to retain help and turn a profit.

Well given the tendency to inflate the numbers, one wonders when someone will add folks having sex its equivalent in hookers and blow ,so needs to be added to the GDP , So next time missus claims the headache GDP is on the line. 💪

The shit described in the article that was found on his phone is enough to put this fuckface straight onto Florida's Death Row under the new law.

The program is working. It’s not only that the media reports a divide, there is actually a divide. Mostly because humans are lazy and selfish, and dumb enough to believe life actually has an easy button.

Pretty simple actually. Regardless of how "united" the country appeared that was only a surface response to what happened on 9/11. People did not change. They kept same biases/prejudices and of course electing the first black president was wonderful because it showed how progressive we were as a country. Most people voted for Barry because he was black just like people voted against Trump and not for Biden.
