How on Earth can this happen? Don't we have safeguards and laws to prevent this? How were they able to be bypassed?

Well, I think we already know the answers. A corrupt administration pushed for agencies to do this and not adhere to any laws that would prevent illegals from getting SS numbers. We also know some of their objectives:
1. Boost democrat voter numbers
2. Shift House seats via census padding
3. Break entitlement programs and blame republicans
4. Increase crime to destabilize communities
Hot damn do I love to see these filthy fucking muzzies get their asses nuked!
My beef is that even the "non-corrupt" politicians saw this and said nothing.
Fuck that. By your inactions, you are complicit in fucking our country over.
Even if you felt powerless to do anything about it, you could have at least shed light on this by sharing it publicly. Not doing so is a slap in the face to your constituents and our entire country.

On the flip side, it will probably be easier to track down those with SS numbers in order to deport them.
The head of the IRS has reportedly resigned due to DOGE coming in and using the IRS database to help locate more illegals for deportation.
