I have been down this path and confirmed that glyphosate which is on our wheat and other foods, was causing me a few health issues. Once I cut it out, all my issues went away.

Now some people in my orbit that witnessed my success have cut it out and it is solving some of their issues too.
What did you drop? How do you know if it has glyphosate on it?

how do you cut round up out of your food? aggressive washing? "organic" only-if labeling is truth-LOL? delete grain? most veg from mass market stores likely have roundup on/in them.

Only about 25% of the national wheat crop even gets a pre-harvest shot of roundup (glyphosate).

Wouldn't doubt if it's even less than that to be honest.

Were you eating locally sourced bread milled from grain you know had a pre-harvest dose?

It's a popular thing to bash, but a majority of people spouting off about its "dangers" really don't know what it's used for.

Not saying you don't know @atomic41, just in general.

It's not easy to do you have to do a lot of homework. Investigate all the food you are buying and eating. For example if you are buying oatmeal, you have to research to find oats that have been independently tested to be glyphosate free. They are out there. You can source flour that is clean of it too. Grow most of your own vegetables.

It's not perfect and you can't get the info on everything, so you will still eat some of it. But doing my best to cut it out it solved real issues for me and two doctors didn't understand how I fixed these issues (LOL). My theory is that a lot of people that think they have a gluten allergy don't actually. Instead they are reacting to the glyphosate. But I can only speak for myself for sure, that is definitely my issue.

Those that want to defend the usage of it, go for it. I won't argue with you because I know what my health issues were caused from. It's been a long road to get here but I figured it out and my quality of life is better now. I'm not sharing my entire health journey here, just giving a brief summary because a couple people asked. I only encourage others to explore the idea that it might be causing issues for them too and just at a bare minimum, educate yourself on it.

Maybe consider sharing a little about your health, I'm interested in what you have to share

Go to the grocery store and buy a box of organic pasta that’s imported. You won’t get that bloated feeling because there’s no enriched flour and other shit in it. Better flavor also. I explained in the fatty thread what we did in our house for a diet overhaul but it usually falls on deaf ears.

My parents farm is certified organic. It’s not as simple as signing a piece of paper. There’s soil samples and audits of all your receipts for the year. If you sell your corn and hay to an organic beef operation you need to have your shit together. Horse people love the hay also.

The imported pasta also has a much lower impact on my blood sugar, as I am diabetic. If I eat any of the regular US brand pasta it spikes blood sugar rapidly.

Oof. I'd like to think of myself as fairly "research driven" but I'm not sure how I'd be able to find shit not poisoned other than "organic" which as we know isn't always "organic (looking at COSTCO, other big chains)." But, not knocking you - admirable if you've fixed yourself because 90% of doctors won't.

Just a side note on bread and other process foods. They have folate acid added to them. Folic acid is a synthetic form of folate, a B vitamin, and is found in supplements and fortified foods.

Here's a little AI summary:

While folic acid, the synthetic form of vitamin B9, is generally considered safe when taken in recommended amounts, it's true that high doses of folic acid may be harmful and some individuals may be more susceptible to its negative effects. Concerns include potential links to increased cancer risk, masking vitamin B12 deficiency, and other side effects.

Here's a more detailed look:
Potential harms of high folic acid intake:

  • Cancer Risk:
High doses of folic acid supplements might accelerate the progression of certain cancers, particularly colorectal cancer, especially in individuals with pre-existing growths, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

    • Masking B12 Deficiency:
Folic acid can mask the symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency, a serious condition that can lead to nerve damage if left untreated, especially in older adults.
    • Side Effects:
High doses of folic acid may cause nausea, loss of appetite, confusion, irritability, sleep disturbances, and even allergic reactions.
    • Impact on Children:
High folic acid levels, particularly during pregnancy, might be linked to an increased risk of autism in children.
    • Increased Insulin Resistance:
Some studies suggest high folate levels may increase insulin resistance, potentially contributing to weight gain and metabolic issues.
    • Unmetabolized Folic Acid:
Some individuals may not effectively convert folic acid into its active form (folate), leading to elevated levels of unmetabolized folic acid in the blood, which may have unknown health consequences.
Who needs to be cautious?
Recommendations:
    • Consult a Healthcare Professional:
It's essential to consult with a doctor or registered dietitian before taking high doses of folic acid supplements, especially if you have any health concerns.
    • Focus on Natural Folate:
Prioritize obtaining folate from a balanced diet rich in leafy green vegetables, fruits, and legumes, which contain the naturally occurring form of vitamin B9.
    • Recommended Dosage:
For most adults, the recommended daily allowance (RDA) for folate is 400 mcg. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant may need higher doses, but this should be determined by a healthcare professional.
    • Avoid Fortified Foods:
If you're concerned about excess folic acid intake, be mindful of fortified foods, such as white flour and some cereals, which are often enriched with folic acid.

I was running with a group of dudes in college and a car got REALLY close and the driver told us to get out of the way.
We were flipping him off when a car pulled out of a driveway and he had to stop. We ALL caught up and jumped on his trunk …roof…then hood like a Steeplechase Barrier. Dented the shit out his car. He just sat there never said a word. We just kept going 😆

True.

I have my own food related issue I'm dealing with and part of what makes it nearly impossible is the industry reliance on co-packers. Hardly anybody, especially the little guys, have complete control over their processing facilities. May be processed in a facility that also processes X, Y or Z is an out from needing to list somethings as ingredients.

Pharma has no interest in helping you figure out how to fight it on your own when they can make money giving you a pill or a shot.

Because of cross contamination I "solved" my problem several times blaming the wrong ingredient until I found one to eliminate that seems to work for me. But I've cut it out of my diet completely because it's impossible to track the processing on all of it.

DDT, was, and still is the best chemical insecticide known to to man that was banned due to false claims by environmental activists. Not saying the FDA is not bought and paid for, but careful of what you wish for.
Didn't have Bed Bugs with DDT.. shit worked.
AND, DDT was only outlawed in the USA, other countries were still using it (like Mexico) and importing the food into the USA.

Is DDT Still Being Used?

Although the pesticide was banned in many countries, some countries in Africa, Asia, and South America needed the pesticide for mosquito control in order to reduce the risk of malaria. In 2006, WHO supported the indoor use of DDT in African countries where malaria remained a major challenge. The organization stated that the benefits of the pesticides to African countries outweighed the adverse effects it had on the environment. India and North Korea have continued the use of the pesticides for agricultural use despite the ban. Approximately 4,000 tons of DDT are produced annually for the vector control program. It is legal to manufacture DDT in the US, though it can only be exported for use in foreign nations. DDT can only be used in the US for public health emergencies, such as controlling vector disease. Today, DDT is manufactured in North Korea, India, and China. India remains the largest consumer of the product for vector control and agricultural use. China produces 4,500 metric tons of the product of which 80–90% is used to produce Dicofol, an acaricide. African countries do not use the product for agricultural purposes but countries such as Ethiopia, South Africa, Uganda, and Swaziland use it to control malaria.

UK Government Used ‘Accountancy Trick’ To Hide 90% of Cost of Giving Away Strategic Islands: Report

The true cost of giving away a chain of strategic islands in the Pacific is £35 billion ($46bn), not £3.4 ($4.5bn) as the government attempted to claim, a report states. The Prime Minister has been accused of misleading Parliament over the figures

Americans are realizing that NO prosecutions will happen and it will get swept under the rug. People are realizing, no one's going to jail.
Pedo protect pedos. If it's a NOTHING BURGER, why did the Dem judge BLOCK information release??

prob just an elitist effort to down play it's importance. if you tell people that people don't care then attention can be focused elsewhere. that is an old trick in our short attention span culture. usually works.
focus is hard to maintain with all the outing of corruption floating around. really just one problem. ie the elites continuing effort to gain yet more control by any method available. has nothing to do really with nationality, race, religion, politics. control of all is the goal.

'Frankenstein' rabbits with tentacles sprouting from their heads invade parts of the US: 'Do NOT touch them'

NOT ONE recommendation to just shoot the fk'rs so it doesn't spread. Nope, "just a don't touch".
"the mutated rabbits have been spotted multiple times in Fort Collins, Colorado."

probably coming from the same department that released trout infected with 'whirling' disease into CO rivers, because the State Run Fish Hatchery didn't want to shut down and clean their facilities.

More Landgrabs coming. Watch the poor get poorer, as electrical and water rates rise due to these structures

"Across rural America, a new kind of giant has arrived - windowless, brick-like monoliths housing the world’s digital brains.
The likes of Meta, Amazon and Tesla are snapping up vast tracts of land the size of Manhattan to build sprawling AI data centers that can cost upwards of $3 billion.
But their arrival brings serious challenges for families living in their shadows, as the centers guzzle massive amounts of water and electricity."
