Couple things: I don't really care about his past, its his predictions via Socrates that I find interesting. Regarding his past, however, it is even more interesting that he plea bargained with the FBI in order to not reveal his forecasting algorithms and has repeatedly made such statements with no one that I have found stating that this wasn't the case. Math applications to markets and geopolitics are what makes it interesting. Socionomics are also hugely interesting as a forecasting model, though at a macro level, herd mentality kind of way.
